🍗🦃 Who else is already planning for Thanksgiving? 🙋🏼♀️ Green Bean Casserole is my all time FAVORITE side (I have no clue why, I just love it 😂)
Usually the recipes I see online are either making it all from scratch, or using all canned items - either way is fine! But this time I wanted to mix it up and use some fresh and some prepared items to save time 🕗 This may be my best tasting version yet, and it also happens to be the healthiest version I’ve made 😉

Ingredients:
16 oz frozen French green beans
1 lb fresh green beans (trimmed and cut)
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 cup skim milk
2 tsp pepper
2 onions
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup panko
1 tsp garlic salt
Directions:
1. Cook green beans (I boiled mine in water for ~8 mins), then add to a large baking dish.
2. While green beans are cooking, preheat oven to 475, slice onions into thin half moons, and toss in a bowl with flour, panko, and garlic salt. Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick spray then put onion mixture on the pan and bake for ~20 mins (toss half way through).
3. Add cream of mushroom soup, soy sauce, milk, pepper, and about 1/2 cup of finished onion mixture to dish with green beans and mix well. Bake at 350 for 25 mins.
4.Remove casserole from oven, top with remaining onions, then bake for 5 more mins. Then you’re ready to serve and enjoy! 😋
